Sarah Methuen – Multi-disciplinary Artist

Sarah’s first professional engagement as a young artist was as prop maker at The Royal Shakespeare Company. Since then she has successfully combined her passions for theatre and visual arts into a career spanning twenty five years. She recently returned to education and achieved her Masters degree in Fine Art.

Her present series, ‘Into The Light’ uses the combination of watercolour monoprint and gold leaf application. The work explores the concepts of healing and humanity by playing with scale, light and energy. Each piece is unique, rich with unrepeatable marks, and has its own particular relationship with it’s onlooker.

Sarah has a studio and home gallery near Leamington Spa, and welcomes visitors by appointment.
