Howard Lucas - Designer Craftsman

Howard is a Furniture Designer, Craftsman, Wood Turner and Up-Cycler with a real passion for wood and all beautiful things, who loves to bring new life to old and discarded items. 

Howard is passionate about working with wood and appreciates its changing natural textures, colours and its grain patterns, which he exploits and enhances in his design and making through the use of simple natural curving flowing lines and the application of colour. 

Howard loves the character of old, discarded and rejected objects and much of his current work involves up-cycling using old timbers and unloved items to create new functional pieces.
